Event: Annual Ijtema Majlis Ansarullah Blackburn and Preston
By the grace of Almighty Allah, the Annual Ijtema of Majlis Ansarullah Blackburn & Preston was held successfully on Sunday 12th April 2026 at Masjid Baitur Rasheed, Blackburn.
The event was organised with the noble aims of fostering spiritual revival, physical well‑being, and healthy academic competition among members. A total of 30 Ansar members and 2 Atfal attended the programme, which ran from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm, concluding with the closing session and prize distribution. Ijtema was Chaired by Naib Nazim e Ala Ansarullah Northwest Ahsan Ahmed Kahloon sahib.
A detailed presentation on Anxiety and Depression was delivered by Dr. Rasheed Ahmed Sahib, followed by an engaging Q&A session. Dr. Shams uddin Mir Sahib presented slides on the Beacon of Peace projects. Ten minutes of stretching and light indoor exercise was conducted to promote physical health among members. President Preston Jamaat, Imran Ali Sahib, provided an update on the collection for the Preston mosque project. Murrabi Silsila, Respected Naveed Jajja Sahib, and Respected Ehsan Kahloon Sahib delivered inspiring speeches on key tarbiyyat (moral and spiritual training) topics, motivating all present.
Academic Competitions: Tilawat, Nazm, Urdu Speeches, English Speeches.
Breakfast and Dinner was served by Ziafat team.
The ziafat (hospitality) team worked tirelessly to serve:
· Light breakfast at 12:00 pm
· Lunch at 2:30 pm
· Evening tea with samosas at 5:30 pm
The quality and arrangements were highly appreciated by all attendees.
