Annual Ijtema Majlis Ansarullah Manchester South Northwest Region 2026

By the grace of Almighty Allah, the Annual Ijtema of Majlis Ansarullah Manchester South was held successfully on Sunday 5th April 2026 at Darul Amaan Mosque, Manchester. The event was attended by 37 Ansar brothers and provided a valuable opportunity for spiritual development, learning, and brotherhood.

Opening Session

The Ijtema began with the Opening Session, which was chaired by respected Regional Nazim-e-Ala Dr. Ijaz Ahmed Sahib. He delivered an inspiring address on the theme of the Ijtema, “Durood o Istighfar”, highlighting the importance of seeking Allah’s forgiveness and sending salutations upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa).

Academic Session

Following the opening remarks, the programme continued with the academic competitions during the first half of the day. These included:

  • Tilawat
  • Azaan
  • Nazm
  • English Speech
  • Urdu Speech

Participants took part with enthusiasm and demonstrated commendable effort and dedication.

Prayers and Spiritual Focus

Zuhr and Asr prayers were offered in congregation, adding a strong spiritual foundation to the day’s activities and reminding attendees of the central importance of Salat in an Ansar’s life.

Sports Competitions

In the later part of the programme, a variety of sports competitions were held, encouraging physical well-being and fostering a spirit of unity and friendly competition. Activities included:

  • Badminton
  • Carrom Board
  • Ludo
  • Musical Chair

The sports segment was enjoyed by all and strengthened bonds of brotherhood among members.

Final Session and Prize Distribution

The Final Session was chaired by respected Naib Regional Nazim-e-Ala Sajid Arain Sahib. A prize distribution ceremony was held to recognise the efforts of participants across academic and sports competitions. The Ijtema concluded with dinner being served to all attendees.
