By the grace of Almighty Allah, the Annual Ijtema of Majlis Ansarullah Northwest Region was held successfully on Sunday 7th June 2026 at Darul Amaan Mosque, Manchester. The event was attended by 300 Ansar brothers from 10 Majalis and served as a spiritually uplifting and well-organised gathering focused on strengthening faith, promoting physical well-being, and encouraging academic excellence.
Our primary focus remained on maximizing attendance. To achieve this, the program schedule, syllabus, and promotional posters were shared with all members, followed by personal outreach efforts through Zoama and regional Tarbiyyat teams.
The day of the Ijtema commenced with Tahajjud prayers at an individual level, followed by congregational Fajar prayers at mosques and homes. To encourage physical fitness, members were encouraged to engage in morning walks or cycling between 6-8 AM.
The first session was graciously presided over by Respected Naib Sadr Ansarullah UK Lutf Ur Rehman Sahib. This session featured academic competitions, including Tilawat, Nazm, and speeches۔
Alhamdulillah, 135 Ansar members attended the opening session.
After Zuhar prayers, we were blessed with a spiritually uplifting Zikr-e-Habeeb session led by Murabbi Sahib.
In keeping with our traditions, this year’s Ijtema also included a Health Awareness Interactive Session conducted by a team of doctors, with Dr. Rashid Ahmed Sahib delivering an insightful talk on Mental Health issues like Anxiety & Depression.
Additionally, several informative stalls were set up, including:
– Durood O Astaghfar Exhibition.
– Beacon of Peace.
– CPR Training Demo.
– Social Media Management (Twitter) Workshop
– National “Meet & Greet” Initiative for Rishta Nata
This year, we were also blessed to establish a Bazar, where a dedicated team of Ansar those who prepared and served a variety of delicious food items. I am delighted to inform you that all profits generated from this Bazar will be donated to the Beacon of Peace Charity, Insha’Allah.
The second session featured sports competitions held at the sports hall, which saw enthusiastic participation. Events included:
– Badminton
– Football
– Volleyball
– Tug of War
Ansarullah Northwest would like to express our deepest gratitude to all members of the Ijtema Committee, Zoama, and their teams for their tireless efforts and dedication, which were instrumental in making this event a success by the grace of Allah.
Final session was presided over by Respected Sadr Sahib Majlis UK Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmed sahib, on behalf of Majlis Ansarullah North West, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to for honoring us with his presence despite his demanding schedule. His guidance and encouragement have been a source of immense motivation for all of us.
We would also like to sincerely thank all Ansar brothers for their active participation and contributions, which played a pivotal role in the success of this Ijtema.
