Alhamdulillah Majlis Raynes Park held their Annual Ijtema on 20th April

Attendance: 41 out of a total Tajneed of 64

🏗️ Ijtema Preparations
Preparation for the Ijtema began more than a month in advance. Once the date was confirmed, Nadeem Mirza Sahib designed a promotional poster, and the venue booking was finalized. A comprehensive Ijtema committee was formed to manage all aspects of the event.

📝 Planning Meetings
Four preparatory meetings were held (including one on Zoom) to monitor progress, delegate responsibilities, and ensure all arrangements were complete. A strong attendance campaign was conducted via WhatsApp and direct, door-to-door engagement by Saiqeens and Amla members. A promotional video was also shared with members.
🗓️ Ijtema Day Highlights
🍽️ Breakfast
Breakfast included paya, chana, boiled eggs, naan, and hot tea. Over 25 Ansar attended the breakfast.
🎙️ Opening Session
Presided by Muzaffar Ahmad Bhatti Sahib, who delivered a spiritually uplifting speech on the topic “Belief in the Unseen”.
📚 Academic Competitions
Judged by Ayub Nadeem Sahib and Fazal-e-Umar Farooq Sahib, the academic session featured:
- Tilawat
- Nazm
- English and Urdu speeches
- Quiz competition (organized by Farid Ahmad Sahib), including Raynes Park Majlis history
⚽ Sports Competitions
Supervised by Farooq Ahmad Chatha Sahib and Zeeshan Bajwa Sahib, activities included:
- Tug of war
- Arm wrestling
- Football shootout
- Brisk walk
All Ansar members participated actively and enthusiastically.
🎉 Closing Session
The final session was chaired by Saddar Majlis Ansarullah UK, Mirza Waqas Ahmad Sahib.

- Concluding address on the theme “Iman bil Ghaib” (Faith in the Unseen)

🙏 Congregational Prayers & Lunch
Both Zuhr and Asr prayers were offered in congregation.
Lunch Menu: Fried egg rice, Manchurian, Roast chicken.
🧹 Wind-up & Feedback
The wind-up team successfully cleaned and restored the venue on time. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone enjoyed the event and appreciated the organization and atmosphere.
🤲 Final Note
Alhamdulillah, the Annual Ijtema 2025 was a great success, owing to the hard work and cooperation of all committee members and participating Ansar. May Allah reward everyone involved and enable us to continue serving with dedication and brotherhood. Ameen.
