By the grace of Allah, a significant meeting of the Amla and Zaimen of Majlis Ansarullah Tahir Region took place on 5th September 2024 at 6:00 PM. The meeting was graced by the esteemed presence of Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmad Sahib, Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK, who personally chaired the meeting for the first time in Tahir Region’s history.

Meeting Proceedings:

  • The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hakeem Adomako Mensah Sahib.
  • Respected Sadr Sahib led the Ansar pledge, followed by the recitation of Hadith with English and Urdu translation by Ataul Ala Zafar Sahib.
  • A portion from the writings of Hazrat Musleh Maud (ra) was read by Nasirul Haq Sahib, with English translation by Waheed Minhas Sahib.

  1. Introduction of Zaimen and Amla Members
  2. Discussion on Ashra Maal (Ten Days of Financial Sacrifice)
  3. Cardiff Mosque Update
  4. Beacon of Peace
  5. Review of Tahir Region’s Achievements of the Year
  6. National Annual Ijtema Committee and Duty Arrangements
  7. Encouragement for Prayers Led by Huzoor (aba)

Meeting Highlights:

  • Nine Zaimen and all Amla members of Tahir Region attended the meeting.
  • Sadr Sahib engaged with Zaimen to understand their achievements, specifically focusing on Salat attendance.
  • Zaimen were tasked with ensuring a minimum of 30% Ansar attendance at Fajr and 50% at Isha prayers in their respective Majalis.
  • The desire for a mosque in Peckham was expressed due to current challenges in securing a regular prayer venue.

Key Achievements and Discussions:

  • Zaimen presented their key achievements, including Tooting’s 100% Chanda (financial contribution) collection.
  • The top-performing Majalis were announced: Battersea (1st), Wandsworth Town (2nd), and Clapham Junction (3rd).
  • Sadr Sahib emphasized personal connections between Amla members and Ansar rather than relying solely on mobile messages.

Special Highlight:

  • The meeting witnessed the launch of a campaign for a mosque in Peckham, marking a historic and joyful moment for the region. Vice President Shakeel Ahmed Butt Sahib was tasked to prioritize efforts for securing a mosque or a dedicated prayer center for the area.

Closing Remarks:

  • Sadr Sahib encouraged all attendees to make consistent efforts in their responsibilities, reiterating the guidance of Huzoor (aba) to continue advising and reminding members as “Naseehat always bears fruit.”
  • Sadr Sahib also focused on enhancing the spiritual practices of Amla members, urging them to adopt Tahajjud (pre-dawn prayer) regularly.

Attendance:

  • Various regional and central Amla members attended the meeting, including prominent leaders such as:
    • Saeed Ahmed Bhatti Sahib (Vice Nazim Ala & Nazim Tabligh)
    • Ataul Ala Zafar Sahib (Assistant Nazim Ala)
    • Nazirul Haq Sahib (Nazim Tarbiyat)
    • And several others, who actively contributed to the discussions and shared their reports.

Concluding Activities:

  • The meeting concluded with Maghrib and Isha prayers led by Nazim e Ala, followed by a BBQ dinner in the open grassy area, adding a memorable end to this significant gathering.

Final Note: This meeting served as a momentous occasion for Tahir Region, fostering unity, collaboration, and a renewed commitment to achieving our collective goals. May Allah bless all our efforts.
