Alhamdulillah, Burton Majlis had the honour of hosting a spiritually uplifting Taleemul Quran Seminar for the East Midlands region. The event took place at Baitus Saboor Mosque in the beautiful village of Winshill, Burton on Trent, and brought together members from all auxiliaries including Ansar, Khuddam, Lajna, and Atfal.
We were blessed with the presence of the national Taleemul Quran team, including Quaid Sahib Tahir Ahmad Fazal, who travelled to join us for this special occasion.
📖 Highlights of the Seminar
After an inspiring introductory address by Quaid Sahib, attendees benefitted from three engaging and informative presentations:
- Moid Hamid Sahib delivered two sessions:
- Stories of the Prophets – Highlighting timeless lessons from the lives of Allah’s messengers.
- Understanding the Qur’an & Quiz – Featuring an overview of the Ahmadiyya UK website and a practical guide to navigating its resources.
- Waleed Ahmad Sahib delivered the third presentation on:
- Qur’anic Prophecies and Scientific Facts – Exploring the miraculous insights found within the Holy Qur’an.
Each presentation deepened our connection with the Holy Qur’an and strengthened our resolve to implement its teachings in our daily lives.
🍛 Hospitality & Brotherhood
The Burton Ansar team prepared a delicious lunch of chicken curry, naan, and kheer, which was followed by a warm cup of tea. The atmosphere throughout the day was warm, welcoming, and deeply engaging. The programme fostered unity, learning, and a strong sense of community spirit.
🤝 A Day to Remember
The event was a true success, combining spiritual learning, heartfelt prayers, shared meals, and enriching conversations. The national team expressed their appreciation and looked forward to returning for future programmes hosted by Burton Majlis.
