Alhamdulillah, the Majlis Ansarullah North West successfully organised the Beacon of Peace Charity Walk on Sunday, 29th June 2025, bringing together the local community in a heartwarming and uplifting display of unity, service, and compassion.
The event, held under the banner of peace and charity, drew an impressive attendance of 225 participants, including members of the local community, dignitaries, and families. The event commenced with inaugural speeches at 10:30am, followed by the official start of the walk at 11:00am.
We were honoured by the presence of Special Guest, the Mayor of Salford, Cllr Heather Fletcher, who addressed the gathering with inspiring words, praising the values of community service and interfaith harmony promoted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community.

Each guest shared their admiration for the community’s continued efforts to serve humanity and promote peace, and expressed their support for such noble initiatives.
In addition to the walk itself, the event was a family-friendly affair, with a bouncy castle arranged for children, adding a fun and festive atmosphere to the day. Food packs were served to all attendees, ensuring everyone was well looked after and appreciated for their participation.
The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with joy, camaraderie, and a genuine spirit of giving. Attendees expressed their happiness at being part of a meaningful cause and appreciated the organisation and hospitality shown by Majlis Ansarullah North West.
This successful charity walk not only raised awareness and support for charitable causes but also strengthened bonds across communities, embodying the true spirit of the Beacon of Peace.
