First Regional Amila Meeting 2026 | Majlis Ansarullah West Midlands

The first Regional Amila Meeting of Majlis Ansarullah, West Midlands Region for 2026 was held on Sunday, 25 January 2026, after Zuhr prayers at Darul Barakaat Mosque, Birmingham.

The meeting was presided over by our distinguished guests, Naib Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK, Respected Shakil Ahmed Butt Sahib, and co-chaired by National Qaid Tarbiyyat, Murabbi Silsila, Respected Mahmud Wardi Sahib. It was further honoured by the presence of Nazim-e-A‘la West Midlands Region, Respected Rafique Saleh Nasir Sahib. The meeting marked a productive, informative, and spiritually uplifting start to the year 2026.

Programme Highlights

1. Recitation of the Holy Qur’an & Opening Prayer
The meeting commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Rafi Ahmad Shahnawaz Sahib, followed by a passage reading from the book of the Promised Messiah (as) by Hakeem Bakare Sahib, and an opening prayer, setting a reverent and reflective tone.

Introduction of Regional Amila 2026

Nazim-e-A‘la West Midlands Region formally introduced the Regional Amila members for 2026 to the national guests and outlined the agenda and objectives of the meeting.

Departmental Presentations

Newly appointed office-bearers presented their initial plans and priorities, highlighting proposed strategies and innovative approaches to achieving departmental goals. Guidance was sought from the Nazim-e-A‘la and the national Qaideen.

Keynote Address – Naib Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK

Shakil Ahmed Butt Sahib delivered a focused keynote address, advising office-holders to work with discipline, efficiency, sincerity, and accountability, in accordance with Jama’at expectations.

Address by National Qaid Tarbiyyat

Mahmud Wardi Sahib, Murabbi Silsila, delivered an inspiring and practical address, drawing upon his experience working across various departments of Majlis Ansarullah. He shared key Tarbiyyat guidelines and practical directives for newly appointed office-bearers.

Interactive Session

Amila members actively participated in a Q&A session, seeking clarification regarding their responsibilities and contributing constructive ideas to strengthen regional performance.

Vote of Thanks

In his vote of thanks, Nazim-e-A‘la West Midlands Region, Respected Rafique Saleh Nasir Sahib, expressed his sincere gratitude and conveyed heartfelt Jazakum’Allah to the distinguished guests, Naib Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK, Respected Shakil Ahmed Butt Sahib, and National Qaid Tarbiyyat, Murabbi Silsila, Respected Mahmud Wardi Sahib, for travelling to the West Midlands Region and gracing the First Regional Amila Meeting with their presence and valuable guidance.

He acknowledged their time, counsel, and continued support for the Region, noting that their advice would serve as a clear direction for the year ahead.

Respected Nazim-e-A‘la further encouraged all office-holders to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, humility, and sincerity, and to faithfully uphold the trust placed upon them for the continued progress of this blessed Jama’at.

Collective Dua

The meeting concluded with a collective dua for the success of Islam Ahmadiyya initiatives, fostering unity, brotherhood, and a shared commitment to service.

May Allah enable all office-holders to carry out their duties with diligence, devotion, and steadfastness. Ameen.
