Alhamdulillah, the Nasir Mosque Hartlepool, North East Region successfully hosted an Open Day, which proved to be a meaningful and engaging event for the local community.
As part of ongoing outreach activities, Majlis Ansarullah Hartlepool carried out door-to-door distribution of approximately 1,000 flyers on three separate occasions. These efforts helped invite and encourage members of the public to attend the Open Day.
According to the message shared by Molana Tahir Selby Sahib, the Open Day was very successful. Although 26 guests attended, they remained for a considerable time, showed great interest, and engaged positively with the programme. Many guests took books and flyers to learn more.
The event was also covered by the Hartlepool Life photographer, highlighting its importance within the local community.
Guests were warmly welcomed with freshly prepared refreshments, including:
- Freshly cooked samosas and pakoras
- Hot tea
- Cake and biscuits
This hospitality created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Sincere appreciation was expressed for everyone who contributed towards the success of the event. Molana Tahir Selby Sahib prayed for all volunteers, saying:
“May Allah shower you with His abundant blessings. Ameen.”
