Alhamdolillah, Burton Majlis successfully held an Isaar Programme and Ansar get-together on Sunday, 14th July 2024. The event was organized to bring our Ansar brothers together and strengthen bonds within the community. We were pleased to welcome our brothers from Stoke-on-Trent, Burton, and Derby, making it a day filled with camaraderie and unity.
The day featured a friendly cricket match between Ansar and Khuddam, promoting a spirit of togetherness and healthy competition. Our Khuddam and Atfal were also encouraged to join in, enjoy each other’s company, and build stronger relationships. After the game, we gathered for prayers and a delicious lunch prepared by our dedicated Ansar brothers.
In addition to cricket, the event included games of pool and table tennis, providing a fun and relaxed atmosphere for everyone. We prayed Salatul Zohar and Asr together, followed by light-hearted chit-chat and further bonding among attendees.
The event saw the attendance of 16 Ansar, 13 Khuddam, and 4 Atfal. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and expressed a keen interest in organizing more such gatherings in the future.
