On 26 June 2026, a four-member delegation from Masroor Region paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Merton, Councillor Shuile Syeda, at Merton Civic Centre. The delegation was led by Kashif Sethi Sahib, Nazim A‘la, and included Mr Mansoor Ahmad, Mr Mian Munawar Hussain and Mr Nasir Ali.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed the community engagement, charitable work and welfare activities of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. The Mayor appreciated these efforts and commended the community’s positive contribution towards building a more inclusive and supportive society.
The delegation also presented the Mayor with copies of the Holy Qur’an and World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace, highlighting the community’s commitment to peace, understanding and interfaith harmony.
The visit concluded on a positive note, strengthening the relationship between Masroor Region and the local government and encouraging continued community service and interfaith engagement.
