Alhamd-O-Lillah, Majlis AnsarullahFazal Region held their Local Ijtema 2025 on Saturday, 17thMay 2025 at Southfields AcademyMerton Road.
Prior to the final Ijtema and academics competitions the sports day was organised in wimbledon park on Sunday 4th May.
By the Grace of Allah, it was a very successful Ijtema, enjoyed by everyone throughout both days. We were honoured with the presence of Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK Mirza Waqas Ahmad Sahib, who presided the concluding Session of the Ijtemah.
Sadr sahib also enjoyed the audience with Amila members of Fazal region and appreciated organising the Ijtema and addressed Ansar on the current affairs and passed the message of Huzoor-e-Anwar (atba) to attendees with regards to the conduct required from each nasir and also the guidelines to uphold standards of Majlis Ansarullah as laid down by Hazrat Mirza Basheer-Udeen the 2nd Khalifa (ra)
The Planning of Ijtema started eight weeks prior to the Ijtema. The Committee was formedby Nazim-e-Ala Fazal Region which included one Nazim-e-Ala Ijtema and three Naib Nazimeen-e-Ala and one secretary Ijtema. Tasks were allocated to different Nazimeen according to their responsibility in Regional Amila.
To ensure the success of this Ijtema, four formal meetings were held along with other sittings before the Ijtema, in order to discuss and plan the duties of the various tasks. Different Majalis were given different responsibilities alongside Nazimeen of different departments in Amila.
In Terms of informing and notifying the Ansar, Wasim Virk sahib who is serving Nazim Tajneed worked delinquently by making sure each and every Nasir is informed about the Ijtema to maximise participation in both days. This year the competition for attendance between Majalis was formalised on the basis of average attendance of both sports and academics day. Wasim Virk sahib informed Ansar throughWhatsApp messages and personal visits which were carried out three to four weeks in advance in order to achieve a very good attendance. Moreover, Zoama were given a briefguideline to contact Ansar and inform Ansarabout the upcoming Ijtema, highlighting, the competitions and fun games. Besides that, invitations were sent to various guests, judges, members of National & Regional Amila and other senior members of the Jamaat.
On both days the Ijtema sites were prepared two hours before the start of Ijtema at 7:30am. All the committee members were present and straight away, everyone did their part to prepare the hall. Preparation included the setting up of chairs, tables, registration desk, Maal desk, stage, Photo exhibition and decoration of hall. This was done in time before the Registration started at 9:30am. Ansar registered themselves on the Tajneed List. This opportunity was also used to verify and update the details of Ansar.
The opening session commenced at 10:00am with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Iftikhar Anwar Sahib. ThereafterNaib Sadr Ansarullah UK, who lead the pledge and the Ansar stood up and repeated behind him alongside the presence of Nazim-e-Ala Fazal region (Ahmad Muhammad Ahsan Sahib), afterwards the Nazm was presented by Sagheer Ahmad sahib.
Thereafter Naib Sadr AnsarullahUKLutfurRehman Sahib shared the details of Masroor Health Care Foundation humanitarian projects globally under the guidance of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba).
Naib Sadr Sahib also explained the ongoing work, efforts done and impact on the people’s life as the result of Masroor Health Care Foundation projects and encouraged members to share the details with all Ansar brothers and participate in the projects progress. This session was concluded with Silent Prayers.
Regional Ijtemah Academics Report:
Allhamdo Lillah by the grace of Allah Fazal Region held its regional Ijtema Final session including academics on Saturday 17th May.
Before the competitions and presentations on range of topics were commenced the Sadr sahib Ansarullah and Ahmad Muhammad Ahsan (Nazim-e-Ala Fazal Region) addressed all the ansar, both explained the Belief in Unseen topic which was the topic for this year Ijtema in detail and highlighted the importance of it in our daily lives with practical examples.
This year We conducted 4 main competitions and quiz.
the 4 competitions were
* Tillawat
* Nazm
*Prepared speech
*Extempore speech
Speech competitions were conducted in both Urdu and English.
We used the syllabus provided by Qiadat Taleem which is also syllabus for national Ijtema.
As of Qaid sahib Taleem’s instructions this year we initiated a new system for conducting quiz competition by using the books assigned for this year and the part of the book (belief in unseen) of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih 4th (rt) Revelation, Rationality, Knowledge and Truth.
Atta-ulmanan Sidhu sahib (Nazim Taleem Fazal Region) prepared all the questions keeping in mind that the main aim is to keep the Ansar informed about Majlis Ansarullah’s this year theme and making sure that Ansarunderstands this as much as possible through speeches and other programs and displays, including quiz.
The quiz questions were prepared to maximise the understanding of key messages from the books which was well received.
Sadr sahib Ansarullah came as special guest and distributed the prizes to 1st to 3rd position holders of the competitions both individual and team quiz.
We also made sure that we publicise this year’s theme and the annual essay writing competitions topic at the Ijtemah which was done using the posters provided by Qiadat Taleem.
There were also few presentations on range of topics were live in different halls and a special exhibition competition was also organised between Majaalis in which all Majalis of Fazal region participated.
The prize distribution started after recitation of Holy Quran portion with translation and pledge was led by Sadr sahib Ansarullah who distributed prizes to the position holders of academic and sports competitions after the pledge. The attendance competition was won by Mosque West, Bilal Ahmad Sahib Zaeem Majlis received the prize.
Ansar who participated in individual and team competitions also had the opportunity to have taken photos with Sadr Majlis when receiving prizes. Once the prize distribution was finished Sadr Sahib Ansarullah delivered a speech on range of issues faced by Majlis Ansarullah and spoke about belief in unseen topic and encouraged Ansar to listen to Huzur-e-Anwar khutbaat regularly.
Photographic Exhibition:
The exhibition competition between all the Majalis was an interesting addition in which 8 out of 9 Majalis took part and prepared the report of their activities leading up to Ijtema in which they were asked to prepare a report on the events they organised during the previous year and showcase their performance in photographic display which was enjoyed by everyone who participated in the Ijtema and at the end the winning Majlis was given 1st prize.
After the dua Ansar offered prayers and then lunch was provided which was prepared and organised by Inamullah Tahir sahib and his team, Ansaar were served Lamb Qorma with Naan and Zarda as sweat dish, there was alsoQawah and Kashmiri Tea, the food was enjoyed by everyone.
The Nazim guest (Ikram-Ullah) sahib is also worth mentioning who entertained all the guests throughout the Ijtema with refreshments, biscuits and Nimko.
At the end, when most of the participants left, Ijtema Committee Members stayed for another hour to wind up and clean the hall and bring it back to the status as we got it in the morning.
