Regional Safe’ Doem New Ansar Dinner 2025 | Majlis Ansarullah West Midlands

Alhamdulillah, the inaugural Safe Doem Dinner for Majlis Ansarullah West Midlands was held successfully on Sunday, 16th February 2025 at 5:00 PM at Darul Barakaat Mosque, Birmingham.

This special gathering served as a warm welcome for newly inducted Ansar brothers and provided an opportunity to formally introduce the Safe Doem initiative in the region. The atmosphere was both welcoming and spiritually uplifting, as members connected over food, brotherhood, and shared commitment to service.

The event highlighted the importance of supporting one another as Ansar and outlined the goals of the Safe Doem program—fostering stronger bonds within the Majlis, encouraging spiritual growth, and ensuring no member feels left behind.

We pray that this initiative becomes a source of unity and strength for all Ansar in the region.

Dua:
May Allah the Almighty bless this initiative and enable all participants to serve with sincerity and steadfastness. May this effort foster lasting brotherhood and increased spiritual awareness. Ameen.

Zaeem Majlis Ansarullah – West Midlands

Objectives of the Event:

  • To welcome and introduce new members into the fold of Majlis Ansarullah.
  • To inspire and engage all Ansar brothers with the spirit and aims of the Safe Doem programme — a national initiative to reconnect less active or newly inducted members through brotherhood, service, and spiritual development.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen brotherhood, commitment, and spiritual growth among our Ansar brothers, especially those who may have recently joined or are less engaged. The evening served as an orientation and motivational platform to build bonds and renew our collective spirit of service.

Distinguished Guests:

  • Hafiz Ijaz Ahmad Sahib – Naib Sadr Ansarullah UK (Safe Doem), who shared valuable advice on the spiritual mission and responsibilities of Ansar.
  • Usman Ahmad Sahib – Member of the National Safe Doem Team.
  • Rafique Saleh Nasir Sahib – Regional Nazim-e-Aala, West Midlands.
  • Dr. N. Tony Ahmed – Newly appointed Naib Nazim for Safe Doem, West Midlands.

In his address, Dr Tony Ahmed reminded members that turning 40 is not a decline but a new opportunity for service and spiritual growth. He encouraged newly inducted Ansar to take ownership of their role in the Majlis, not as passive attendees, but as active servants of faith.

Hafiz Ijaz Sahib, in his address, provided valuable guidance on the spiritual mission and responsibilities of Ansarullah members, reminding us that our role does not end at 40—it begins anew. His emphasis on personal accountability, community involvement, and the pursuit of righteousness was met with heartfelt appreciation from all present.

The Safe Doem initiative aims to:

  • Build inclusive and welcoming environments.
  • Reconnect with and support less active members.
  • Provide meaningful opportunities to serve according to each member’s skills and circumstances.

The event marked a milestone for West Midlands Ansarullah, setting the tone for a more inclusive, active, and spiritually motivated future.

Highlights:

  • A spiritually uplifting atmosphere and motivational speeches from guests.
  • Introduction of local and regional Safe Doem office bearers.
  • A warm, informal dinner fostering brotherhood and connection.
  • Concluded with a heartfelt dua, seeking Allah’s blessings on all present and future efforts.

May Allah accept our humble efforts and enable all Ansar to truly live up to their responsibilities as helpers of the faith. Ameen.
