his year, the theme for Majlis Ansarullah’s Ijtema’at is “Ebad e Salheen” (عباد صالحین). This profound phrase, which appears in the Holy Qur’an in Surah Al-Anbiya (Chapter 21, Verse 106), carries significant meaning. The verse reads:
“And indeed, We have written in the Psalms, after the Reminder, that My righteous servants shall inherit the land.” (21:106)
The verse affirms a prophecy found in the Zabur (Psalms of David), where the inheritance of the land by the righteous is vividly articulated. This theme is central to the current global context, especially in light of the ongoing conflict in Palestine.
The Significance of “Inheriting the Land”
When the Qur’an refers to “الارض” (the land), it directly references Palestine. Historical records and religious texts affirm that the land has always been inherited by the righteous. However, when the inhabitants of Palestine strayed from righteousness, they lost possession of the land. Hazrat Musleh Mauood (ra) elaborated on the consequences faced by the Israelites due to their transgressions, leading to their eventual loss of the holy land.
The Fulfillment of Prophecy
The prophecy in the Zabur and the Qur’an foretells that the holy land of Palestine cannot remain in the hands of those who are not pious in the sight of Allah. This prophecy has played out throughout history and continues to be relevant today. The current phase, where the land is controlled by those who stray from righteousness, is temporary. The land is destined to be won back by the true, righteous servants of Allah.
A Call to Righteousness
Sadr Majlis Ansarullah has chosen the phrase عبادی الصالحون as the motto for the Majlis, recognizing its deep significance in our times. Hazrat Amirul Momineen (aba) has urged the Jamaat to reflect deeply on the commentary of these Qur’anic verses, emphasizing the need for righteousness.
The path to success, both in Palestine and globally, lies in becoming humble, righteous servants of Allah. As members of Ansarullah, it is our duty to strive toward this goal, ensuring that we become the righteous servants destined to inherit the land.
The Global Context
In light of the increasingly dire global situation, particularly the conflict in Palestine, we must turn to prayer and righteousness. Hazrat Amirul Momineen (aba) has consistently warned that if the conflict escalates, it could have catastrophic consequences worldwide. Now, more than ever, it is crucial to heed his guidance, striving for peace and righteousness even in the face of adversity.
