By the grace of Allah, two members of Majlis Ansarullah, West Midlands Region, Nazim-e-A‘la Rafique Saleh Nasir Sahib and Nazim-e-Isha‘at Zia Ur Rehman Farooqui Sahib, were part of a 12-member Majlis Ansarullah UK delegation that undertook a pioneering Waqfe’Aarzi in San Jose, Costa Rica, marking the Jama’at’s first organised outreach in the country. The delegation worked closely with Murabbi Marwan Gill Sahib (Argentina) and Murabbi Arif Daud Sahib (Costa Rica) to introduce the peaceful teachings of Islam Ahmadiyyat at multiple levels of society.

Over the course of six days, the team conducted extensive Tabligh and engagement activities. More than 9,700 leaflets were distributed through street outreach and Tabligh stalls, with a warm and receptive response from the public. Meetings were also held with key officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to whom a letter from beloved Huzur (aba) addressed to the President of Costa Rica was formally delivered. The delegation additionally met the UK Ambassador, fostering diplomatic understanding and goodwill.

A major highlight was participation in an Inter-Religious Day for Peace at the University for Peace (UPAZ), where Jama’at representatives spoke on the role of religion in global peace and engaged in dialogue with academics, students, and faith leaders. This led to further interfaith networking and meaningful discussions on Islam’s teachings, including women’s rights and social responsibility.
