By the grace of Allah Almighty, the first annual Ijtema of our Majlis was held successfully on Sunday, 20th April 2025. Alhamdulillah, approximately 90% of Ansar brothers attended the event with willingness and enthusiasm, reflecting a strong spirit of unity and commitment.
Members were informed through telephone calls and personal visits by office-bearers. From the outset, the Ijtema maintained a spiritual, disciplined, and brotherly atmosphere, which remained consistent throughout the day.
Opening Session
The Ijtema commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the Ansar Pledge. This was followed by a Nazm (poem), after which participants engaged in silent prayers.
We were honoured by the presence of the Regional Nazim Aala Sahib, who graced the opening session and addressed the audience with words of encouragement and guidance.
Academic Competitions
Following the opening session, several academic competitions were held to promote religious knowledge and confidence among members:
- Tilawat
- Nazm
- Extempore Speech
All Ansar brothers participated with great enthusiasm and a positive competitive spirit.
Physical Competitions
A range of physical and recreational activities were also organised, providing energy and enjoyment for all participants:
- Kalai Pakarna (Arm Wrestling)
- Nishana Bazi (Target Shooting)
- Musical Chairs
These activities fostered healthy competition, teamwork, and camaraderie.
Concluding Session
The concluding session was chaired by Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK and included:
- Tilawat
- Ansar Pledge
- Nazm
- Report presented by Zaeem Sahib
- Concluding address and du‘a by Sadr Ansarullah UK
Prizes were awarded to the winning participants by Sadr Sahib in recognition of their dedication and outstanding performances.

Conclusion
By the blessings of Allah Almighty, this Ijtema proved to be a source of spiritual upliftment, unity, and brotherhood among all attendees. The dedication and passion of the office-bearers, volunteers, and participants played a key role in the success of the event.
May Allah accept these efforts, enable us to build upon this success, and grant us the ability to continue serving the Jama‘at with sincerity and steadfastness. Ameen.
