Alhamdulillāh, Majlis BF South successfully organised and conducted the Local Taleem-ul-Qur’an Quiz Competition at Baitul Futuh Mosque on Sunday, 12th October 2025. The event commenced after Zuhr/Asr prayers (1:30 PM) and was well-attended by members of the Majlis.
The programme aimed to deepen participants’ connection with the Holy Qur’an through study, reflection, and friendly competition, fostering both spiritual and intellectual growth.
Programme Segments
The event comprised three key segments:
- Split Words with Translation Competition
- Based on selected verses of the Holy Qur’an — Surah Al-An‘am (Verses 32–70)
- Local Qur’an Quiz Competition
- Focused on Tafsir-e-Kabir, Volume 2 (Pages 312–385)
- Speech on the Importance of Learning the Holy Qur’an
- A motivational address highlighting the spiritual and moral benefits of Qur’anic study and practice
Purpose and Impact
The primary objective of the event was to:
- Strengthen members’ understanding of the Holy Qur’an
- Encourage enthusiasm for regular recitation, memorisation, and comprehension
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and active learning
Participants displayed excellent preparation and engagement, making the programme both educational and inspiring for all attendees.
