Beacon of Peace Event 14 March 2026

On March 14, 2026, a congregational Iftari was held at Baitul Ikram, bringing together a large and vibrant gathering of Jamaat members. The evening was marked by a spirit of unity, reflection, and community engagement.

Taking advantage of the significant presence of Ansar members, the newly appointed Additional Secretary of the Beacon of Peace (BOP), Ijaz Ahmed, delivered a concise and impactful 15-minute presentation shortly before the commencement of Isha and Taravee prayers. Attendees gathered peacefully within the mosque, listening attentively as the speaker addressed the congregation from the podium.

Global Impact and Contributions

The presentation highlighted the core mission of the Beacon of Peace initiative. Through clear and compelling examples, the Additional Secretary illustrated how contributions are utilized to support humanitarian efforts worldwide. These initiatives are dedicated to assisting those in need, providing relief, and fostering positive change across communities.

Visual aids further enriched the session, with presentation slides outlining key financial initiatives and ongoing projects. This helped attendees gain a deeper understanding of how their contributions directly translate into meaningful global impact.

A Call to Action

The message resonated strongly with those in attendance. Members of the Ansar were encouraged to make regular monthly contributions, according to their means, to help sustain and expand the Beacon of Peace initiative.

During the address, it was emphasized that wealth spent in the way of Allah is multiplied many times over, serving both as a spiritual investment and a means of supporting humanity.

The session concluded on a reflective note with a silent prayer, leaving attendees inspired and motivated to contribute toward this noble cause.
