Regional Isaar Programme|East Midlands 5th April

Alhamdulillah, a successful and engaging Isaar event for Ansar was held at Baitul Hafeez Mosque in the Nottingham Majlis. The programme brought together Ansar from across the East Midlands region, with representation from four out of five Majalis, including Stoke, Derby, Burton, Nottingham, Coventry, and Leicester. The event saw a total attendance of 54 Ansar, reflecting strong participation and enthusiasm.

The programme commenced with congregational Namaz setting a spiritual tone for the gathering. This was followed by a delicious meal prepared by the dedicated Ansar cooking team. Attendees enjoyed a hearty serving of lamb curry with naan, followed by sweet rice for dessert and a comforting cup of tea.

Beyond the meal, the event provided a valuable opportunity for Ansar to reconnect with one another. Brothers engaged in meaningful conversations on a variety of topics, including current affairs, economic challenges such as inflation, and religious discussions. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with moments of laughter and genuine joy as many reunited after a long time.

The gathering was further enriched by the respected office bearers, including Qaid Isaar Irfan Ahmed Sahib, Naib Qaid Isaar Shams Sahib, Nazim-e-Ala Sharjeel Nasir Sahib, and Nazim Isaar Syed Aamir Sikander Sahib.

During his address, Qaid Isaar emphasized the importance of serving humanity through practical efforts such as supporting homeless initiatives, assisting local charities, and contributing to food banks. He also highlighted the responsibility of caring for fellow Ansar, particularly those who are housebound and may be experiencing isolation and loneliness. He encouraged regular home visits to ensure they remain connected and supported.

A Q&A session followed, where attendees expressed interest in organizing more frequent local gatherings to strengthen brotherhood and community ties. In response, Qaid Sahib suggested that the Nazim Isaar East Midlands work towards facilitating such initiatives in collaboration with local Majalis.

The event concluded on a positive and uplifting note, leaving participants motivated to continue serving their communities and strengthening bonds of brotherhood.
