By the grace of Allah, the Leamington Spa Jamaat had the honour of hosting a highly successful Big Iftar event on Sunday, 1st March 2026. The gathering welcomed over 120 guests from across the local community, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere that reflected the true spirit of Ramadan.
We were especially honoured by the presence of Imam Ataul Mujeeb Rashid sahib, whose attendance greatly enriched the occasion.
The event brought together a distinguished and diverse group of guests, including the Member of Parliament for Warwick & Leamington Spa, the Mayor of Warwick, the Mayor of North Warwickshire, the Deputy Mayor of Leamington Spa, the Deputy Mayor of Kenilworth, and the Deputy Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon. We were also pleased to welcome the Leader of Kenilworth Town Council, the Chair of Stratford-on-Avon District Council, and councillors representing various political parties.
In addition, the event was attended by members of different faith communities, representatives from Warwickshire Police, school teachers, and many valued members of the wider local community.
The evening served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen community ties, promote mutual understanding, and share the blessings of Ramadan with friends and neighbours from all walks of life.
