Majlis Burton East Midlands Region Community Engagement

Alhamdulillah, during the blessed month of Ramadan, members of Burton Jama’at actively participated in various welfare and community support initiatives.

Local members kindly prepared and distributed food to their neighbours, sharing the blessings of Ramadan with those living around them. In addition, the Jama’at arranged for food to be delivered to neighbours and several local charities as part of our continued commitment to serving the wider community.

Burton Jama’at also works closely with a local charity, Burton Hope, which supports individuals experiencing homelessness as well as families facing financial hardship or crisis situations. As part of this collaboration, the Jama’at donated food items to the charity’s local food bank. Members also prepared food parcels that were delivered to the charity to assist those in need within the community.

Alhamdulillah, these efforts provided a valuable opportunity for the Jama’at to support vulnerable members of the local community and to demonstrate the Islamic values of compassion, charity, and service to humanity.

Wassalam
