Alhamdulillah! We are filled with gratitude and joy as we reflect on the successful completion of the Hifz e Quran programme held at the magnificent Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden, London, on the 4th of April 2024. This event was a profound display of dedication, spirituality, and the love for the Holy Quran.
With the participation of 12 devoted individuals, the mosque resonated with the beautiful and heart-touching recitations of various Surahs from memory. Each participant, through their recitation, not only showcased their commitment to preserving the Quran in their hearts but also brought its teachings to life for all of us present.
The evaluation was based on several key aspects, including the correctness of the recitation, adherence to Tajweed (the art of Quranic phonetics and intonation), and the overall delivery. Our esteemed examiners were deeply impressed by the high standard of memorization and recitation skills demonstrated by the competitors, reflecting months, if not years, of dedicated study and practice.
This programme was not just a competition but a celebration of our collective heritage and the unifying spirit of the Quran. It served as a powerful reminder of the importance of the Quran in guiding our daily lives and strengthening our faith.
