Leicester Local Ansar Ijtema 2026

By the grace and blessings of Allah the Almighty, the Leicester Majlis successfully held its Local Ansar Ijtema on Sunday, 17th May 2026. This year, the event was centered around the beautiful and deeply meaningful theme of Durood Sharif and Istighfar, reminding us all of the vital importance of seeking Allah’s forgiveness and invoking blessings upon our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Dedication and Preparation

The success of the day was paved by weeks of thoughtful preparation and wonderful teamwork. Following a series of collaborative planning meetings, dedicated committees were formed to look after the Programme, Sports, Academics, Food, and Logistics. Thanks to the hard work, synergy, and commitment of everyone involved, all arrangements came together beautifully, setting the stage for a seamless and uplifting experience.

Inspiring Highlights of the Day

We were truly privileged to welcome the Regional Nazim-e-A‘la Sahib and his representatives to our opening session. Their inspiring guidance and heartfelt reminders encouraged everyone in attendance to fully absorb the spiritual and moral blessings of the day.

  • Excellent Turnout: Alhamdulillah, we were delighted to welcome a total of 43 Ansar brothers to the event.
  • Engaging Activities: The day’s program featured an inspiring opening session, lively indoor sports and academic competitions, an address by our esteemed Chief Guest, and a formal prize distribution to celebrate the participants’ efforts.
  • Fellowship: The event concluded beautifully with the offering of Zuhr prayer followed by a wonderful community lunch.
