In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Ever Merciful

By the grace of Allah Almighty, Majlis Ansarullah Masroor Region successfully held its Regional Ijtema on Sunday, the 2nd of June, 2024, at Danetree School, Epsom.

The opening session of the Ijtema began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Mr. Asif Zubair, followed by a poem by Mr. Abdul Qadir Farooqi. The Naib Sadr of Majlis Ansarullah UK, respected Shakil Ahmed Butt Sahib, led the pledge. Subsequently, respected Ataul Mujeeb Rashed Sahib, Imam of the London Mosque, delivered a speech on ‘Righteous Servants,’ the theme of the Ijtema of Majlis Ansarullah UK. In his speech, respected Imam Sahib highlighted the attributes of Righteous Servants, emphasizing that as members of Ansarullah, we must strive to embody the various qualities of Righteous Servants as mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. Naib Sadr respected Shakil Ahmed Butt Sahib also presented a speech on Cardiff Mosque, urging members to pledge and contribute to this blessed project.

The academic competition commenced after the opening session, with members from eight Majalis under Masroor Region participating. The academic competitions included Tilawat, Nazm, prepared speeches in Urdu & English, and extempore speeches in Urdu & English. An enjoyable sports competition was also held, with active participation from the members of the Majalis.

Zuhr and Asr prayers were offered in congregation. Respected Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK, Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmad Sahib, attended the Ijtema as the chief guest at the closing session. The closing session began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Mr. Mirza Rashid Ahmad, followed by a poem by Mr. Khalid Chughtai. Mr. Fareed Ahmad presented the Ijtema Report, and respected Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK, Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmad Sahib, handed over prizes to the winners and various Majalis representatives. In his speech, respected Sadr Sahib shared some faith-inspiring incidents of the companions of the Promised Messiah (AS) and urged members to develop a living relationship with Khilafat. After his speech, Sadr Sahib led the pledge and concluded the event with silent prayer.

The Ijtema venue was beautifully decorated with various colorful posters and banners. Breakfast was offered to participants in the morning, and dinner was served after the closing session. All the food throughout the day was thoroughly enjoyed by the members. A total of 213 members, including 11 guests, attended the Ijtema.
