Planning and Execution
Under the leadership of Mr. Shafique Ahmed, appointed as Nazim-e-Aala Ijtema, a robust committee meticulously planned various segments of the Ijtema. The committee’s effort ensured a well-organized event that included academic and sports competitions designed to engage and inspire all attendees.
Morning Proceedings
Registration kicked off at 9:00 AM alongside a hearty breakfast featuring Paiya, Naan, and Halwa, enjoyed by approximately 100 attendees. The academic competitions commenced shortly after, involving events such as Tilawat, Nazm, Prepared Speech, Quiz, and Message Relay. A remarkable 66 Ansar participated, representing all eight Majalis.
Sports and Recreation
The Ijtema also hosted a series of sports competitions, including Basketball, Table Tennis, Arm Wrestling, Musical Chair, and Darts, drawing participation from 129 Ansar across nine Majalis.
Final Sessions
The opening session began at 10:00 AM, led by Attaul Aleem Sahib, Regional Ameer. This session included the recitation of the Holy Quran, a beautiful rendition of Nazam, and the Ansar pledge.
Concluding Highlights
The closing session, presided over by Mr. Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmad, Sadar Majlis Ansarullah UK, included prize distributions for the sports and academic winners and insightful addresses. The event concluded with a profound session of silent prayers led by Sahibzada Mirza Waqas Ahmad.
This year’s Ijtema not only strengthened the bonds of brotherhood but also reinvigorated the spirit of dedication among the Ansar towards serving the community. May Allah enable us to continue serving with zeal and commitment. Ameen!
