Tabligh Stall (Discover Islam Month) – Burton Majlis* East Midlands – 1st May 2026
Alhamdolillah we held a tabligh stall in the center of Burton. We had participation from 2 Ansar. We did advertisement of our forthcoming Eid dinner at Baitus Saboor Mosque in Burton Inshallah. We distributed 12 leaflets and 2 books. We were able to introduce the message of Ahmadiyyat to 5 people. One lady said that we should more communities coming together to engage with each other and building bridges with one another. She said she has had 2 heart attacks and is suffering with this and is on sick leave. She said her husband used to live in Winshill and has moved to Swadlincote over a year ago. The husband Malcolm said he has heard of our community doing the good work as he lives on Highbank Road. He said that he had been invited on many Jama’at events and unify has not had the opportunity to attend. We invited him to attend our Eid Party on the 8th to which they said they would join us Inshallah. Another Christian man came to the stall and took a book – gulf crisis. He was asking why the Jewish people were being killed and why there was so much destruction all over the Middle East. We told him that war was not of a religious matter and that this was a geopolitical disagreement and hopefully the problem will be resolved amicably. We told him to read the book gulf crisis. Another lady came to the bookstall and was saying what a good activity we were doing and that more communities should be involved doing the good work.
